The salon sits within a peaceful residential street and is intentionally designed to support deep rest, sensory relaxation, and a calm, unhurried experience.

What should I expect during my appointment?

Your treatment is designed to be deeply calming and sensory. After the initial consultation, I gently recommend resting from conversation so clients can receive the full calming and nervous system benefits of the treatment.

Soft lighting, gentle music, and an unhurried pace create a cocoon‑like environment for rest and restoration.

Should I bring anything to my appointment?

I recommend bringing a pair of sunglasses for your drive home. After spending up to two hours in a dark, cocoon‑like treatment room, the Queensland sun can feel quite bright on the senses. Sunglasses help ease the transition back into the outside world and keep that relaxed, grounded feeling with you a little longer.

Can I bring someone with me, or can my child come along?

To keep the space calm, safe, and fully aligned with my insurance requirements, Hello Gorgeous operates strictly as a one‑client‑at‑a‑time salon. This means I’m unable to accommodate additional guests, including children, during appointments.

The salon contains hot steamers, warming units, electrical equipment, and other professional tools that make the environment unsafe for little ones. It’s also a deeply sensory, quiet space designed to support your nervous system — and having extra people present can disrupt the experience for both of us.

I truly appreciate your understanding. This policy allows me to maintain a peaceful environment and give you my full, uninterrupted attention.

How should I arrive for a 2 Hr Ritual treatment or facial?

For facial treatments, I recommend arriving with no makeup on. This allows us to begin your treatment straight away and ensures your skin receives the full benefit of the natural, botanical products used throughout the ritual. If you’re coming from work or another commitment, don’t worry — I can remove your makeup for you.

What products do you use?

I choose products with care, favouring low‑tox, botanical, and natural ingredients. I hand make and grow many of the ingredients myself. I also work with Perfect Potion products.

Professional hair formulations such as Affinage and Floractive are used mindfully when needed, always with your scalp, hair, and nervous system in mind.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes — gift vouchers are available and make a beautiful, thoughtful experience for someone who needs rest and nurturing. I can't think of a better gift to give someone you love!

What is NanoPlasty?

NanoPlasty is a long‑lasting smoothing/ straightening treatment that reduces frizz and softens curls and texture for 8–12 months. It’s ideal for Queensland’s humidity and is a gentle alternative to using hot styling tools, traditional permanent straightening or keratin treatments.

What if I’m running late or need to reschedule?

Cancellation Policy:
Hello Gorgeous is a one to one salon. Appointments at Hello Gorgeous are reserved especially for you. Cancellations or rescheduling require a minimum of 24 hours' notice. With at least 24 hours notice, appointments may be rescheduled once, or the value of the booking may be held as a credit to be used towards a future appointment. Credits are valid for 3 months from the original appointment date and are not redeemable for cash. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment, or failure to attend, will result in forfeiture of the full service fee. Late arrivals may result in a shortened or adjusted treatment to ensure the next client is not impacted. Appointments will still conclude at the scheduled time, and the full service fee applies, as the time has been reserved exclusively for you. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be treated as cancellation.

Is there parking?

Yes, I ask that you park in my driveway and avoid street parking in respect of my lovely neighbours. Full details are included in your confirmation email.
